Above is a scan of the bracket for 2013. This year there will be 4 preliminary games played, 2 on March 19 and 2 on March 20. The winners of those 4 games get places on the traditional bracket which begins on Thursday March 21.
I propose that we do not submit our picks until those 4 spots are determined. If you are confident that in every case those 4 teams will lose in the normal first round, (i.e Louisville will certainly beat the winner of N.C.A&T and Liberty) then you can submit your bracket right now. (Just remember there might be a Cinderella in one of those 4 teams)
Officially brackets will be due by Thursday March 21 before the first games of the normal first round start.
