I know that you have all seen pictures of the devestation of Ike, but this was a beach house located on Crystal Beach, owned by a lady that worked for me at Huntsman in Accounts Payable. As a lot of these cabins were 2nd homes and the insurance was very expensive many owners did not carry insurance or were under-insured. The problems caused by flooding in Bridge City and Orange continue to surface. Galveston will probably take years to recover and maybe some of these places shouldn't recover. Its easy to say when it isn't your home/property.
